Events and GTG's

In addition to being a parts and modifications resource, the guys at 3Werks know that one of the great aspects of being part of the enthusiast community is getting to know other enthusiasts.  Whether meeting people at large sponsored shows, or small local GTG's (Get Together's), it's the people that make being part of an enthusiast community so great.

This page is simply a listing of known events, both large and small.  3Werks is not a sponsor of these events, unless specified, but would like you to know where those events take place if you're interested in meeting other people in the enthusiast community.

Local GTG's (in no particular order):

Raleigh, NC:

Carolina Ale House - Every other Saturday night - 7.30pm.
What started out as a few local guys with MKV VW's getting together simply to meet other MKV people has turned into a regular bi-weekly meet for anyone that's interested in hanging out with, and getting to know other enthusiasts.  More Info.

Flying Saucer - Every Monday night ($2.50 night) - 6.30-ish pm.
This used to be a monthly gathering, but a few folks that enjoyed the company of others (and the great beer) started meeting on a weekly basis.  If you like an outstanding beer selection at good prices, and talking VW's, this may be for you.  More Info.

NCEuro GTG - Every first Tuesday of the month - Usually at Rudino's - 7pm.
A monthly meet for any Euro cars.  Mostly comprised of BMW, and Audi folk, but usually a few VW and Porsche folks that show up as well.  Good food, rooftop tables, and Euro car enthusiasts make for a good time.  More info.

Cary, NC:

Woody's - Every Saturday - 2pm - $1.00 12oz. Yeungling drafts.
A group of mostly VW owners.  Woody's has a decent beer selection, and you can't beat the $1 drafts at that time!  More info.
